15th Anniversary of the GECO Masters: Things Are About to Get Loud!
The GECO Masters have become a fixed date on the German IPSC calendar. The three-day handgun match brings shooters from Germany and across Europe to Philippsburg, combining competitive shooting with plenty of opportunities to connect both on and off the range. In 2026, the event will take place for the 15th time. To mark the anniversary, Beretta is joining the event as a special guest. The Italian manufacturer is celebrating its 500th anniversary in 2026 and is bringing its new competition pistol, the 94X Performance, to Philippsburg.
Three Days, Three Berettas!
Here’s the part that will probably get participants most interested: A Beretta 94X will be raffled off as the main prize on each day of the event. Additional prizes will also be awarded daily to eligible competitors and Range Officers.
Anyone who wants to do more than just win the new Beretta and would like to get their hands on one beforehand will have the opportunity to do so on site. The 94X can be tested on the range during the GECO Masters.
What’s Behind the 94X?
The 94X Performance is Beretta’s new platform for competitive shooting. It was specifically developed with modern disciplines such as IPSC and USPSA in mind and features, among other things, an extended Vertec Pro grip frame, the Xtreme-S trigger and an optics-ready setup. Depending on the configuration, the pistol is designed to accept magazines holding up to 20 rounds.

For the GECO Masters, that means the new pistol won’t just be sitting on a display table. It can actually be taken to the range and tested. And with a little luck, you might not have to give it back at the end of the day.
15th GECO Masters, three days in Philippsburg, and three chances to win a Beretta 94X. It’s hard to ask for a better anniversary bonus.
