Attenzione! Beretta's new D11 Pyramide has us marveling. Here is why you'll want one.

Everything beautiful comes from Italy or is made there: sunshine, supercars, and shotguns - very exquisite ones. The latest masterpiece: the Beretta DT11 'Pyramide'.

Beretta's pride and joy: the new modern classic - DT11 “Pyramid”

14 years of power and success, most recently at the Olympics on top of the podium. Or the "Pyramid" you might say ...

There are weapons that are treated like legends in the world of shooting sports. The Beretta DT11, which has continuously brought gold and victory to trap and skeet shooters since its introduction, is one of these weapons. As the top dog in sporting clay target shooting, it has been established for years and is the measure of all things. No matter where you look, be it Europe, the States or Asia, the DT11 can be seen everywhere at the highest levels of competition that this sport has to offer. Right up to the Olympics.

The new special edition of the Beretta DT11, which goes by the name of “Pyramid”, is not just a further development. It is a statement. A homage to success and identity. The DT11 “Pyramide” retains all the features that have made it probably the most successful over-and-under shotgun, but adds a new, timeless modern design and finish.

The Pyramids.

he impressive 5-axis laser engraving is emblazoned on the side of the receiver of the DT11 Pyramid, giving the gun a very sophisticated aesthetic. The pyramid structure with 3D effect, which is executed in four different intensity levels, not only ensures a striking design, but also a timeless beauty that blends harmoniously into the overall appearance of the firearm. This fine engraving is not only a visual highlight, but also an expression of Beretta's precision and craftsmanship. The pyramid structure combines classic Italian design with the most innovative technology. Just as you would expect it.

In addition, the pyramid structure continues in small form on the shoulder side of the receiver, creating a continuous design line that further enhances the overall appearance of the firearm. The unique geometry of these micro-pyramids has been optimized to prevent unwanted glare and reflections, even in the most adverse lighting conditions. This ensures a clear view of the target without distracting light reflections impairing concentration - a significant advantage, especially in difficult competition conditions where every detail counts.

But she's much more than her engravings. The Beretta “DT11 Pyramide” combines first-class design with excellent technology. The stock is made of high-quality class 3 walnut wood, optimum balance and excellent handling. The ergonomic shaft with natural grain also guarantees an individual touch. The tried-and-tested cross-bolt lock guarantees maximum precision and stability, even under extreme loads. Together with the cold-hammer-forged, in-house Beretta "Steelium Pro" barrels, the DT11 Pyramid delivers exceptional shooting performance. These barrels impress with their exceptional durability and reduced muzzle movement - ideal conditions for precise hits under all circumstances, even with instinctive shots. And dealing with a lot of pressure, as your are shooting for a gold medal at the next Olympics.

There are almost no limits to customization.

The DT11 “Pyramid” can be ordered in the basic configurations Sporting, Skeet and Trap. The Sporting comes in 30“ or 32”, the Trap in 29.5“ and the Skeet in 28.5” barrel length. Each "Pyramide" has a completely new, unique serial number, starting with “PYR001”. In addition, each “Pyramide” is supplied with a “Microcore” recoil pad and an optional “B-Fast” stock system, which allows the shooter to customize the stock to their own build in a matter of seconds. Alternatively, Beretta also offers the classic, fixed buttstocks for Trap, Skeet and Sporting. In combination with the hand-cut checkering, perfect grip is guaranteed in every situation.

The trigger unit of the DT11 “Pyramid” is made of steel and is removable. The barrels are exciting: The sights are of course skeletonized, as are the barrels. This skeletonization was carried out in such a way that the shotgun's centre of gravity is shifted to the first barrel. For different competition situations, the “OptimaBore HP” interchangeable chokes, a Beretta in-house development, offer high precision and shot shear. The specially developed ABS gun case features a “Pyramide” embossing, ensuring the maximum protection for the gun.

Craftsmanship.

Hardly anyone knows how to build shotguns like the Italians from Gardone Val Trompia. "Over and under" shotguns in particular have always had something sublime about them. With their long history, they deserve special attention. The elegance with which the receiver swings open and the shells are ejected is unrivaled. And anyone who looks at Beretta shotguns - regardless of the price range - will always notice one thing: craftsmanship is “big” here. Traditional craftmanship such as cutting a checkering is combined with state-of-the-art 5-axis laser technology, in which the material is heated to several thousand degrees with pinpoint accuracy.

For some people, a laser engraving in 2025 may no longer be anything special. To those we would like to answer: "C'mon, just LOOK at this and say it's not beautiful."

There is no such thing as “resting on past success”. Beretta is one of the oldest gun manufacturers in the world, its history goes back to 1526. A time when all weapons still had to be made entirely by hand by master craftsmen. Beretta is committed to this tradition. To this day.

The combination of tradition and innovation makes Beretta shotguns in particular a coveted object for hunters and sport shooters worldwide. Because a shotgun is more than just a tool – It is an expression of passion and we want one.

Beretta has once again proven its passion. The DT11 'Pyramid' is a limited special edition for connoisseurs and aficionados. Perhaps for someone who has already had the honor of visiting the Beretta factory and has understood how much craftsmanship still goes into these masterpieces in 2025. Or for those who still dream of doing so one day. This shotgun is an exquisite collector's item and a testament to Beretta's own legacy.
